W dniach 3-5 październik w Łódzkim Domu Kultury (ul.Tragutta 18) odbędą się warsztaty z Brianem Azzarello - amerykańskim scenarzystą komiksowym. Chętni do udziału mają czas do 15 września, żeby napisać krótkie zgłoszenie (po angielsku). Ze wszystkich zgłoszeń wybranych zostanie dwunastoosobowa grupa osób które wezmą udział w warsztatach.

The workshops will be held on 3, 4 & 5th October 2012 in Łódzki Dom Kultury, ul. Tragutta 18
The workshops aim at helping writers master their skills via series of meetings with Brian Azzarello, the well-known and acclaimed writer of Batman, Hellblazer, Superman, 100 Bullets and Spaceman. The workshops will last for 4–5 hours/day and will be delivered in English.
We'll select 12 participants among those who apply.
All candidates willing to participate are expected to submit a short application paper in English due to 15th September 2012 on aneta@komiksfestiwal.com
The aim of the workshops is to come up with bunch of short stories (6-8 pages each) supervised by the leading artist. The stories will serve as a base for selected students from The Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Their works will be published in an anthology and exhibited during the 2013 edition of Comics Festiwal in Łódź.
The workshops are free of charge. The organizers do not provide lodgings for the participants of the workshops.
